Today youāll get: 3 bullet tips, a borrowed idea, a read you needā¦ and a question for you!
Enjoy!
Would you rather have comforting lies or unpleasant truths? (A question we asked you last week)
Bullet tips
Productivity:
āOur fear of failure stops us from doing things.
But by procrastinating you guarantee failureā - Chris Williamson
Say it out loud:
by procrastinating you guarantee failureā¦
by procrastinating you guarantee failureā¦
Repeat numerous times, but not enough that it turns into procrastination itself!
Thereās two questions being asked here:
Is fear of failure the reason you are not doing the thing?
Is your procrastinating a by product of fear?
If the answer is āNoā to both, then the only explanation is lack of motivation or outright laziness. At this point there is no excuse.
If the answer is āYesā to both, then use the start small idea. Make the starting point the smallest you can.
Either way, thereās no excuse!
Wealth:
āMoney = a tool
Tools = less effort for a higher return
Don't be afraid to seek wealth. It's just a tool for creating the world YOU want to seeā - Codie Sanchez
Weāve touched on using money as a tool in previous Pro Letterās. Codie reinstates that idea, and puts it perfectly.
Seeking wealth is great, youāre allowed to that. Use it to create your world. Your bubble where you can use it as a tool to live, do things, have a comfortable existence.
Not for prestige, competing with others, or buying ridiculous stuff that nobody needs.
What happens when you get all the stuff, what do you do then?
Life:
When someone says āBut I donāt have time!ā what I hear is: "I'm choosing to not make it a priority!" - Mark Manson
True. I do it.
I think we all do.
Itās quite humbling to realise how we spend this time we claim to not have.
Netflix = 2 hours
Pointless scrolling = 1-2 hours
Walking up later than you need to = 1 hour
Lack of meal planning = 30 min-1 hour
Iām sure thereās many more examples. At a minimum, the above is 4.5 HOURS!
How do we not have the time to read, learn, work on a side project, see a friend or family member?
The time exists, it just needs reevaluated!
A borrowed idea

Tell Your Boss the Four-Day Week Is Coming Soon (Bloomberg Businessweek)
When the world went into lockdown last year, the 1,000 employees at Berlin-based tech companyĀ AwinĀ did what millions of others did: They flipped open their laptops and started working from the kitchen or dining room. At the same time, Awin started running flat-out as its business with online retailers soared, putting intense pressure on the staff.
So last spring the company told everyone to sign off around lunchtime every Friday to ease into the weekend. The experiment was so successful: sales, employee engagement, and client satisfaction all rose - that in January, Awin decided to go a step further, rolling out a four-day week for the entire company with no cuts in salaries or benefits.
āWe firmly believe that happy, engaged, and well-balanced employees produce much better work,ā says Chief Executive Officer Adam Ross. They āfind ways to work smarter, and theyāre just as productive.ā Continue readingā¦
